Submit an Adoption Application: Fill out our adoption application. A dedicated case manager will contact you within 1-3 days after receiving your submission to guide you through the next steps of welcoming a new family member into your home.

Meet and Greet: Schedule a time to spend some quality time with the dog you're interested in to ensure it's a great match for both you and the dog.

Home Visit: In some cases, we may conduct a home visit or a facetime call to ensure the environment is suitable for your new pet.

Finalize the Adoption:

Review the dog's veterinary records to understand their health and needs.

Sign the adoption contract.

Your adoption fee is a vital contribution that helps us provide comprehensive care for all dogs in our rescue. This care encompasses a wide range of services, including wellness checks, spay/neuter surgeries, emergency treatments, and major medical procedures for dogs with special needs. We also cover ongoing expenses such as medications, monthly preventatives, grooming, transport, training, boarding, equipment, and food. For a typical healthy adult dog, costs can include spay/neuter procedures ($125-$400), vaccinations ($15-$40 each), microchipping ($15-$50), and various preventative treatments ($15-$75). However, some dogs require more extensive care, and we often invest thousands of dollars in individual animals needing specialized procedures or life-saving surgeries.
As a small, volunteer-run organization, we frequently cover expenses out-of-pocket, driven by our commitment to helping animals in need. Your generous support is instrumental in allowing us to continue this important work, ensuring that every dog receives the care they need to thrive.
